Tearing down project proceeds on. Probably will be done by July.
The city-planned project going up? A student-friendly housing area, talked about as being 'affordable'. New neighborhood will be referred to as 'Kaiserhof'.
The old bowling alley across from it? Still there and actively making business.
Oh yes, the bowling alley. Spent many an evening there doing 'DiscoBowling' which I had never seen before and eating tunafische pizza, which I had definitely never eaten before. As I lived at Frankfurter 21A, it was right down the street and an easy walk, er, stumble home after a delicious beer or two.
