Cuxhaven Story

I was reading through the news this morning, and one key thing popped up.  It was a great sunny weekend in Germany, and the journalists kinda popped over to the town of Cuxhaven.

If you've never been there, it's a beach town on the western side of the nation....maybe a 45-minute drive west out of Hamburg.

If you wanted sandy beaches, ice cream stands, and a ordinary beach 'moment'....this is where you'd go.

So journalists found literally thousands upon thousands of Germans there over the weekend, without masks, and the 1.5 meter 'rule' didn't really work.  In simple terms, no one remembered much of anything about the Coronavirus.

The end of the protective chatter?  Not yet, but among Germans desiring recreation.....no one believes the threat exists anymore.  The younger the German, the less they believe it's a threat.
