Part II: German Constitution (1 January 1871)

This is the second part of a series, where I chat about German Constitutions.

Toward the 1870 era, Prussia had finalized consolidated Hessen, and the areas around Hessen into the new 'land'.  They had to settle some difference and slightly change the old Constitution.

Note, this did not settle the Bavarian or Wuerttemberg situation.

This 1 January 1871 Constitution would be called the "Verfassung des Deutschen Bundes, or Novemberverfassung".

The thing about this one brief episode was that it was simply a quick-fix or band-aid approach.  The
real 'new' Constitution would occur roughly 100 days later.
