What's This Crisis Summit In Germany For Friday About?

Well....the Chancellor is inviting state Premier-Presidents to a meeting and there's to be a 'fix' coming over asylum and deportations.

What they say?  The max period of time that the state governments can hold folks who've failed the application for asylum? It was ten days.....it now goes to 28 days....giving each state and their security folks time to plan the exit. This means the flight business.....the escort....the papers...etc.

Second?  If there is paperwork showing your criminal gang involvement (syndicate business)....that will be enough to iron-clad your exit.  Convictions in hardcore crime will do the job.

Added to the second agenda item....once the participation in hardcore crime is established....there's to be no warning effort.  That means the Police can pick you up....carry you to detention, and off you go on your exit.

Enough to convince the public of change?  Maybe.  If you asked a dozen Germans to rank the biggest problem facing the nation....deportation of failed asylum folks ranks in the top three things they will talk about.

Calling this a crisis summit?  It has to convey a theme or message....like they are going to really fix a big problem.  Politically, the Greens and SPD folks should have done this six months ago.
