The EU, Musk, and Weidel 'Chat'

Around noon today, I noted a German news piece off T-online (I'm not saying they are a trusting source, but 90-percent of the time....they don't haul out BS).

The piece says....with this Elon Musk 'chat' with Alice Weidel (of the AfD Party of Germany)....the EU has 'deployed' (the exact word that T-online used) 150 personnel to monitor if this were a proper conversation.

Now, for me....when you utter 'deployed'.....in military lingo, it means you brought a tent and sleeping bag along, but I seriously doubt that the EU folks are in that frame of mind.

The problems here?

Well...Elon is having a 'conversation'....not really a interview.  So I'm not sure how this rate with EU regulations.

Then, there's the issue....this 'conversation' will occur at 7 PM CET (Germany time).....so they (the EU deployed folks) are working over-time hours, and if this doesn't end until 8:30 PM.....then you have to have the 150 'watchers' then gather in teams.....for at least three hours....to come to some 'you-broke-the-rules' situation.  That brings things to almost midnight.

What are they looking for?  Nazi-chatter mostly.

Will the 150 make decisions Thursday night?  I doubt it.....they are simply taking notes and trying to find a breaking of laws.

Friday morning.....the big boys of the EU to get the report?  Yeah, I would assume this.

But now.....lets ask a stupid question....if the EU is doing this....won't the German government also do the same exact thing?  Well.....yeah, that's probably another group of fifty-odd German 'watchers' doing the same thing.

Is this such a legit fear?  Presently, polling-wise, the AfD is polling 21-percent.  I just can't see this increasing much beyond 24-percent....even with the Twitter 'conversation'. If you were the authorities and hyped-up in fear  that one single 'conversation' on Twitter might confuse people, and get polling up to around 35-percent....then yeah, that fear might be legit.

But the key humor factor here.....Elon asks question number one....simple question that a 12-year old kid would ask....Weidel answers with a 2-minute 'talk', and then you have 150 guys/gals sitting there, and trying to assess a Nazi-conclusion (1-10).

Over seventy-odd minutes, you get around 22 Elon questions, and responses. Then you have to have Nazi-ranking and EU breakage. At the end....people viewing the news on Friday will just sit there laughing over the EU ranking and chatter.

At the end....Elon will  then say ALL of the candidates (CDU, CSU, SPD, Linke, BSW and Greens) would get the same invite....if only they would ask.

My hope?  This EU monitoring doesn't take off and they start to include Bigfoot experts, alien experts, Russia-Ukraine experts, or fast-food experts.

NOTE: I am also 'deploying', and will view the Elon-Alice conversation....reporting tomorrow what I saw.  And yes, I will use a Nazi-index method to be fair and similar to the EU.  Results?  In the AM Friday....I usually like to sleep over important matters.  I'll try to abstain from beer while  viewing.
