Airline stood up today and said in roughly three weeks....for a month, they are cutting 23,000 flights off the schedule. N-TV was reporting this in the mid-afternoon. Then after that comment....they simply noted.....further cancellations would occur (probably suggesting May and June time periods).
At a peak six months ago....the stock for Lufthansa was nearing 18-Euro. Today? 10.60 Euro. I might go for late April and suggest it'll drop another four Euro.
So if you were intending to do any traveling for the next 90 days....other than by train or car.....you might be shocked at the options for flights.
