1. N-TV this AM....had a story relating to the Ukraine-Russia war. So the US intelligence folks say....since December...that Russia has lost (deemed dead) around 20,000 soldiers, with half of them being Wagner contract guys.
Truth to the matter? I'd say it has a BS-factor of '4' (out of ten). Certainly, the generals would not be reporting this to Putin, and 20,000 is a awful high number.
Includes wounded? No....that's a separate situation...with that number suggested at 80,000.
At this pace, for the remainder of 2023? Well....trend-wise, if this were to continue....then you could add around 50,000 more by January of 2024.
I should note....this is for mostly the months of 2023.
2. Bear attack? I noticed in Slovakia.....they'd reported two hunters out on a wild boar hunt....where they encountered a bear and got messed up pretty bad.
