About a year ago, I essayed a piece and talked over this complaint lodged in Frankfurt about the police, and that a small number of them had been identified to right-wing platforms (social groups).
Well....it's come out now that roughly 15,000 Hessen policemen are under some type of general review.
So the shocker for the authorities? Over the decades, as they recruited and trained people to be cops.....they've now reached a point of realizing that most all cops are generally orientated in some way to be conservative, supportive of the law, and maybe a bit right-wing. Yes, they just don't recruit too many left-wing individuals to be policemen.
One can laugh over this, but there's a serious amount of time being spent to review each cop, their social media profile, and things they might have said. The odds that the majority are in some type of little counseling mess? I would take a guess that more than sixty-percent will have to get counseling and take it mostly as a joke.
The problem is....it's no longer the 1970s, and social media has positioned people to have opinions and to share them. For the cop jobs? No one with a left-leaning tendency is going to go out and sign up for the job of policeman here in Germany. So it's hard to see how this problem resolves itself.
