On The Run

I essayed a few days ago about the search for a German (Yves Rausch) who was to be arrested by four police, when he 'flipped' them, took their pistols, and escaped....down in the Oppenau region of Germany.

Well...since then....hundreds of police have been detailed for the search.  The police describe him as armed and dangerous.

N-TV carries the best ongoing information about the episode.

I would suggest three key stories about the episode:

1.  There was an accidental 'firing' (one gun-shot) by the police, which triggered a brief bit of worry.

2.  Most believe he is still in the region.

3.  There is this "manifesto" that has turned up (from his hut).  It's not written by him....by a former associate of his, and from the 2005 period.  For some reason, this manifesto seems to worry the police a good bit. Contents of the manifesto?  Unknown, and it appears that it won't be discussed in some open forum.
