Difference Between Covid 3G Policy and 2G Policy

So under extreme Covid numbers here in Germany....3G means you get access to bars, restaurants, cafes, pubs (interiors)....by one of three measures: (1) you had Covid....you recovered and have a test to show that, (2) you were vaccinated and have a record of that, or (3) you were tested (PCR = good for two days, quickie test = good for 24 hours).

So under 2G (the ultra-max extreme situation), you delete the test deal.  This means that non-vaccinated and non-recovered folks.....get zero access.

The political and virus-expert folks believe this will trigger a massive reaction, and people go to get the vaccination.

Well....yeah....they believe this.

The mere suggestion that vaccinated people can't get Covid?  Yeah, it is a bit ridiculous but that's the suggestion.  Personally, I would have gone 1G, and just demanded everyone test every other day.

On 2G, I would humbly suggest that this group of Germans (probably in the 25-percent of society) will just look at matters....save their money and in some weird way...conduct a form of boycott.  This means bars, nightclubs and restaurants stand up a couple of weeks into 2G activity and tell the government they can't survive for long-term.  Yes, the loss of customers will be too great.

The idea in about a month to permanently end the 'free' deal of Covid quickie-tests?  From a economical standpoint, the government was spending a ton of money making this work.  My general perception is that about three months into this no more free quickie tests....the government will admit it was a faulty decision and bring back the test in some fashion (probably charging you 3-Euro while they pay 7-Euro).

This 18-Euro per quickie-test....was a bit ridiculous (if you ask me).  You can currently buy the test at a grocery for around 3 Euro each (same kit).
