This AM....I went early to the Wiesbaden Zollamt (tax-office)....to renew my pink-card (allows me to use the BX/commissary).
So I get there....plenty of parking. Walk in....hand the card to the uniformed Zoll-lady. She spend 20 minutes....coming over to see me....a problem.
Well....her system connects to some server in Darmstadt (Zoll HQ for the state, I guess). AC is down. Server is off.
I ask....can I come back in 2 hours? NO.
Maybe in 4 hours? NO.
Wednesday? Maybe.
Thursday.....yeah.
I pondered this....all this connectivity in Germany....with AI being a priority, and if the AC fails....the whole system collapses.
Pretty critical weak point.
