The headline news from ARD (channel 1, public TV in Germany) for tonight? "Vigilante justice against "climate glue" - is that self-defense?"
Basically....no, you can't slug the young guy or gal....no matter how stupid they've started to act.
Public sentiment sailing 'south' fast on this topic? In major cities....like Hamburg or Berlin....I'd take an estimate that one out of three has been affected in one way or another, and it's had an affect on their frustration level.
The Last Generation activists thinking they are changing the opinion of people? No substantial proof, or facts.
At some point, before the end of 2023....I believe some judge will just say 'enough' and say various laws were broke.....with the young lady/guy....being sent off for six to nine months of prison.
At that point, the activists will be shocked, and go into a reactionary mode....getting more extreme, and the police will react quickly. I'm not saying this is a path like the RAF-terrorists of the 1970s....but there's a lot of naïve behavior, with people thinking that they can change the behavior of society by making them wait three to five hours in some stau (traffic jam).
