About two years ago....a new trend started up in Germany....balcony solar-panels. You'd buy the 'kit' for about 250 Euro....install it yourself (highly recommended to have a electrician do the connect-up stuff).
Well....up until yesterday, you had to have permission of the landlords, and this was a 50-50 thing, if they'd accept it.
Bundestag yesterday passed a new law and said....no, the landlords don't have the right to hinder you from installing it on a balcony.
There's a bit of wording here....if your unit is a threat or 'extra-heavy'....they still have some right to refuse you. But to just say 'no' without any reason? Won't work anymore.
