Are Germans showing up at public clinics/general doctor's offices for the second vaccination of Covid situation?
Well...not really.
It came up in the AM news today that the President of the Berlin Red Cross (DRK, Mario Czaja) spoke to the topic. He says there are enough people skipping it and failing the necessary shot....that he wants a special fee to be handed to folks missing it.
How much? Well....he suggests a fee of around 30 Euro.
If you had a bad reaction to the first shot and feel pretty negative about the second shot? Well....that topic isn't openly discussed.
Numbers? None officially advertised. What the Germans do say is that the national numbers for the two shots is about 38-percent of the population. So far on the first shot? They say it's near 56-percent.
Because there's a two to three week 'lag' between the shots....you can't really come to a decent fact.
My question here....is 30 Euro enough to make you accomplish the second shot on time? If I felt really bad (severe pain, fever, etc) after the first shot.....does 30 Euro trigger me to just overlook the shot results? I'm not sure about that. Even if you made it 150 Euro, or 300 Euro....it might not matter.
What would happen if 15-percent of the Germans vaccinated just refused the second shot entirely? Where do the consequences come into effect? What if one out of 900 vaccinated Germans didn't just skip the second shot.....but died in the three weeks after the shot (maybe from Covid, maybe from the vaccination, maybe from a heart-attack, or maybe by the hands of some thug)?
It's just an odd topic to discuss.
