Three German News Stories

 1.  Not a shocker, but the Bahn folks (the railway of Germany) has come to grasp a fair amount of counterfeit tickets exist.  They say they will bump up their game and halt this practice.

Theres probably more interest in counterfeit Bahn tickets than counterfeit Euro currency currently.

2.  The topic of nuclear energy came up with Chancellor Scholz....his comment?  "Nuclear energy is a dead horse in Germany."

Under the SPD-Green-FDP coalition....it is 'dead'.  Beyond that....it's anyone's guess when nuke energy comes back.

3.  The chatter is this coming week, as the Bundestag returns to work (summer vacation ends).....the heat-pump law will pass.  Polling indicates a general majority of Germans aren't happy with the mandate, and they want a debate over this. Just a humble guess....but I suspect the AfD Party will counter the law, and gather a few more disgruntled Germans to their voters.
