I saw a short footnote today via HR (regional public TV here in Germany) and it concerned the Lufthansa view of the profit angle and the Coronavirus.
Basically, they've done the numbers and suggest that 'normal' flying won't occur until 2024, and that a number of personnel and aircraft cuts are coming by the end of 2020.
The question to ask at this point.....will hotels and travel programs survive this three year period of waiting? I'm not just talking internationally, but hotels here in Germany waiting for foreign guests to come back to Germany.
