School and Corona Chatter

I won't get into the long drawn out details.....but with schools opening this week in one German state after the vacation period....it was noted in the news today (ARD, public TV) that two schools have already shut down, because of Covid-19.

In one case, the teacher had developed Covid-19, and was tested positive.

In the other case, it was one single student had symptoms and tested positive.  In this case, after a day of reflection....the school reopened but was conducting classes outside and away from the classrooms.

Over the next couple of weeks, more states will complete the summer off-season, and kids will return to classrooms.  I suspect that most all states will report temporary closures....some for a day or two....some for a week.  For the next ten months, this will be the norm.
