Another Lock-Down?

Based on the 'success' or frustration of the first lock-down....the majority of Germans will tell you that a second lock-down is absolutely something they want to avoid....based on ban-rules, economic pitfalls, and kids/parents being stuck in the same household for weeks and weeks.

Well....in the German conspiracy world....the rumor has started up.  The rumor basically says that a lock-down date has been scripted out and written (late August). 

For the anti-conspiracy folks and the public news media....this is something they have to attack with 'truth' and suggestions of fraud.  Focus talked briefly about the rumor and the conspiracy attachments. 

Any truth to the rumor?  Basically no.

There is the problem of Germans returning from vacation hot-zones and bringing Corona back into the country.  There is the problem of summer weather bringing Germans to picnics and family gatherings.  There is the problem of social groups expanding, drinking and breaking the 1.5 meter rule.  All of these added?  They might bring the public to a second wave situation or another lock-down.

The amount of effort to qualify this as a conspiracy or fraudulent situation?  That's the puzzling part of this.  If the Federal Health Minister stands up around the last day of August and declares five or six major ban-rules back into effect....it won't be a conspiracy or fraud.....it'll be the truth, and the public will gaze at the news media and just start laughing.
