Back in 2021...someone here in Germany brought up this rural region (middle of nowhere)....where after 18 months of Covid going around the nation....no one in this community of 400 folks....had gotten Covid. The natural assumption....they were getting a mild version of Covid and just not getting tested.
I noticed today a piece in Focus....talking about a Brit study of 16 people who said they'd never had Covid, and been tested to prove that point.
So the test group of 16 were given a drug of some type, then exposed to Covid (guaranteed to produce results).
Well....as the story goes....seven of the sixteen....even when exposed....just couldn't get Covid.
The seven had this one common gene....HLA DQA2.
The one curious thing about HLA DQA2? Well....you are more likely to get Crohn's disease.
The fact that it took us 4.5 years to reach this point of finding a 'special' group who can't get Covid? Yeah, to me....that's an odd thing.
