Action again in Stuttgart? SWR (public TV from SW Germany) had a early (6:36 AM) report to cover Friday night/Saturday morning.
Basically, more alcohol-courage youths encountering police patrols in the mid-city area.
On the plus side of things....the city had 200 police out on patrol for the evening.
On the negative side....one drunken youth resisted arrest, and four police were injured in the event.
I noticed from their (SWR) interview of social workers looking at the riot from a couple of weeks ago, and various other factors....they've come to this about the prevailing youth attitude around Stuttgart....is that these confrontations with the police are simply a "big ball game".
One might be amused by the comment, but the social workers dug into the whole discussion. Youth reaction is that the Corona ban rules are a big negative.....with constant checks by the police against them are "unfair and disrespecting them".
The problem on the police is that you end up with teenagers wanting full authority and a pass on leisure activities. The police then look at the social workers, the teens and the authorities of the city....asking them which laws to dismantle or just overlook.
I suspect the city leadership is simply hoping for an early winter to arrive, and temperatures to send the 'kids' home.
