1. The Foreign Minister (Baerbock, Green Party) has presented a plan where German troops would be deployed into Ukraine (as a peace-stabilizing 'group'). This was at the NATO summit in Brussels. It does not appear that anyone supports the idea, and I would imagine across Germany....more than 99-percent of the public would say 'NO'.
2. Fair amount of snow coming this weekend across all of southern Germany.
3. The Afghanistan 'truth-commission' exploring the debacle on exiting....has one central witness left, before they conclude the inquiry.....former Chancellor Merkel. Generally, from what has been said so far....all failures lead back to the US handling.
4. No confidence vote in France done....final. Earliest date for an election? July 2025. What this was mostly about? A budget hole of 60-odd billion Euro.
