Well....this is a different type. German pharmacists want a 50-percent increase on pricing (profit).
They will hold a strike this Wednesday....across the country.
Their wording? Well....they will occupy the space and handle emergency situations, but deny sales to everyone else.
What they generally point out....over the past twenty years, there's been a continual decline....not just in rural areas like you'd expect, but in urban zones as well. Across Germany? There are 17,939 pharmacy operations existing presently.
The Health Ministry? Well...in the past year....virtually everyone has come to demand a price increase, and this is causing problems. My humble guess is that they won't get 50-percent.....but the government will have to give them a 25-percent raise in fees.
