Spending Money

Focus (the German news magazine) carried an interesting statistical story this morning.

Last year (2017), Germany put out 965 billion Euro (1.2 trillion dollars) on it's social welfare system....for 82 million Germans or 'guests'.

Growth?  Yes....roughly 3-percent more than 2016.

They even cite that in a twenty-five year period.....they doubled the expenditures.  The odds of this doubling again within the next 15 to 20 years?  Well.....it's virtually guaranteed.

The bulk of this?  304 billion Euro for pensions.
