Germany and Mafias

How many varieties or nationalities of mafias exist in Germany today?  Cops will zero in on cities or areas, but they refrain from discussing a national number.  If you get into some discussion with a working-class German....they will simply say there is a problem brewing and more cops being hired, but no one is sure about how big a deal the current mess really is.

The groups?

Lebanese.

Serbian.

Various Arab groups....some related to Iraqis....some to just unified Arab groups.

Ndrangheta, Camorra and Cosa Nostra Italian groups.

Albanian.

German or Turkish member motorcycle gangs.

The Volga-German gangs.

Russian.

Turks.

Kurds.

Afghan.

Moroccan.

Tunisian.

Vietnamese (left over from the DDR days).

So when you get into these discussions.....it goes off into a variety of directions.  Chief money-making?  Money-laundering, drugs, illegally imported cigarettes/booze, human-trafficking, car-theft, burglary, fraud, loan-shaking, weapon sales, fake passports, etc.
