There's a good piece up on SWR (public TV from the SW of Germany), which talks over the growing divide of motorcyclists and local communities.
There's demonstrations planned in both Stuttgart and Lake Constance by the biker crowd....over anticipated political action coming.
On the opposite side, SWR can cite over 100 communities in Baden-Wurttemberg which are heading toward some type of action to limit motorcycle 'noise'.
The no-bike agenda for Sundays and holidays....appears on the track to be seriously considered. It's talked about at both the federal and state levels. It appears more likely that various roads (rural regions) will be identified for no bikes on the days suggested.
The other 'chatter' going on? Motor-manipulation and more police 'checks'. Personally, I think the more achievable action to make communities happy....would be the increased police checks over noise levels, and confiscation of bikes for 'repairs'.
A federal solution coming instead of state-to-state action? It's kinda leaning that way.
