The Vaccination Vacation?

I noticed this week....an tourism advertisement came up.

Two weeks in a five-star hotel....all meals and drinks (beer and wine included) covered, with airfare from Frankfurt to Turkey for 1,499 Euro.  The one added plus-up?  Vaccination for Covid-19 included....once you arrive at the hotel.

Yeah, no waiting for your priority point (to likely be June or July for the bulk of Germans).

You'd board the plane next week, arrive at some Turkish airport.....to be bused over to a resort hotel on the beach, and then have Doctor Mustafa greet you with a drink in one hand and a syringe of some Covid vaccine in the other.

How many Germans might take up this deal?  Well...first it's out of season (I'll suggest the temperature being 18 to 21 C right now.....mid-to-high 60s for Americans).  Course in two weeks, it'll be a rock-solid 22 to 24 C (low 70s).

The pricing?  There are a number of packages up currently for two weeks in Turkey (the full deal, meals and booze included) for around 700 to 900 Euro (without the vaccination deal)...at least at the four-star range. So this suggested price of 1,499 is pretty hefty, but the vaccination is really the key selling item.

How many Germans might sign up for this?  Unknown.

Just my humble view....there might be 10,000 Germans who see the vaccination as a big plus in the deal.  But would you really want to go spend two weeks there...getting the vaccination on day one, and feeling crappy for the next five to seven days?  Added to this....you'd have to get the second vaccination on the last day there, and fly back fairly miserable.

Then there's this final observation....this being a free and open bar situation....can you really mix twenty cocktails and twenty beers in the five days after a vaccination?  Or maybe this deadens the after-effects of the vaccination?
