I sat and watched a short Covid-19 update via Germany's N-TV this morning, and there's one little weird story.
Over in France, they had a couple of folks (elderly), who apparently died from Covid-19. But they are only sure about this because of certain symptoms they experienced in the final hours.
The PCR test? The gold-standard of Covid-19 testing? In each of the eight deaths....the PCR test was applied, and it came back negative.
This is begging a lot of questions, and it may take weeks for the PhD folks to reason out how Covid-19 stayed 'invisible'. Then the question will be....has this invisibility been around for the entire past year, or is this just a recent development/change in the virus.
The fact that all eight are from the same hospital (Lannion area)? That may figure into the discussion as well.
