Well, we are about to find out in Germany....if the management of things since the crisis started....is a violation of constitutional rights.
A Berlin judge....Pieter Schleiter....has filed a brief with the Constitutional Court. He's suggesting that violations have occurred.
What'll happen? Unknown.
It would be a shocker if the Constitutional Court came back in sixty days and said 'yes', but what happens then? Typically, they'd turn to the Bundestag and tell them that the Constitution has to be resolved or corrected to fit the circumstance. But they could go back to the coalition government and tell them....x, y, and z can't be mandated.
