My wife, on Friday afternoon...started to exhibit what I'd consider regular cold symptoms....leaning slightly toward flu (the mild type).
Her impression of it being Covid? Well...to settle her mind...I opened up one of the test kits (the 5.99 Euro types). You can buy them via pharmacy operations, grocery stores, etc. They are in short supply, and I should note....they are all Chinese-made.
This kit was provided by her boss. The employees get one each week, with the direction that they ought to use it by Monday morning.
Well...the kit is not that simple in the directions department. I went to YouTube for the four-step process.
The end-result? Negative.
Things were fine up until yesterday around noon. Then a co-worker texted the wife, and everything went into massive chaos. Two of the managers of the company have Covid-19. This co-worker? Really feeling seriously ill. So here in my village, we have test-center (really just a Red Cross trained guy who does the test). So we went down an hour later, and had the official test. Negative.....no Covid.
The thing that you tend to notice....mood-swings can take off and it's pretty simple to get a crowd of folks all hyped-up in ten minutes. Just the mere suggestion of Covid....occupied around four hours of yesterday.
