There's talk that the Interior Ministry is drafting up a bill that says....if you (person or group) go and 'lure' police/firemen/ambulance crews....into a 'trap' or ambush....it'd be a serious amount of time to the jail sentence.
Presently, with the wording on the books/code....it's a minimum of six months. Now, with the draft? It'd be a minimum of one year in prison.
Odds of passage? I think there's more than enough votes via the SPD, Greens, FDP and CDU/CSU. The trouble is....do you think a prosecutor and judge will be willing to send off people to this type of sentence?
This ambush business is something that you never noticed in the 1970s/1980s around West Germany unless you were dealing with the Red Army Faction (RAF).
