Three Things To Watch Over

 1.  Christian Lindner is the head of the FDP Party and serves as the Finance Minister within the SPD coalition.

An investigation has started up in Berlin....over Lindner.

Basis?  Well....'suspicion of taking advantage'.

There is talk that he took a house loan (with a second loan of some type) and got favorable conditions....meaning a lesser rate than the average guy would get.

What'll happen?  Well....the bank officials will be dragged in and forced to explain how they gave a slightly better rate to him, and not other customers.

I'll be honest here and admit that bank loans are crazy business, and if you research things to the ninth degree in Germany....you can find various banks at times...desperate to take on new loans, and you could easily negotiate a loan where the points were 1 to 2 points less than the average guy could get.

A lot of people unfamiliar with the bank situations....don't grasp or understand this.  However, it may be something else in the pot over this, and you could find a FDP Party furious at Lindner being found with guilt and kicked out of the position....then suggesting a collapse of the government over the allegations.  The Berlin folks involved in the prosecution?  Very likely to be members of the SPD or Green Party.

2.  There's supposed to be a 'mobility summit' today (Chancellor appearance)....which is mostly about E-cars and charging stations.  The bike people, public transportation....they weren't really invited.

It appears more of a PR session where the car industry talks about the E-cars woes and how thing must improve....if the gov't is serious.

Might be worth watching....but a lot of what will be said....will be PR BS.

3.    Watch for more environmentalists demonstrating in the Lützerath coal region (NW part of Germany)....starting tomorrow.  Police were heavily used over the weekend, and attacked with rocks/stones.

Since the area affected is private property and not approved for a protest....likely to be a number of people arrested.
