Well....some gal got triggered by Berlin pool authorities kicking her out for being topless....so she pressed the issue.
As of this morning....starting shortly, the rule change in the city of Berlin is that you can be topless at the local public pools.
A big deal?
Most public indoor pools around Germany had a rule for years....one or two nights a week....nude swimming was approved.
My wife (who was a regular swimmer for years) noted once....at some pool....they made the announcement that in five minutes....x-hour would arrive and nude swimming was permitted. She noted up to that point, there were 12 people doing laps in the pool area. Within 2 minutes, ten of the twelve wrapped up their business, and went to the dressing room. Nudists then arriving? No.
What'll happen in Berlin? Some freaky immature adults (young men of a ethnic variety).....will stand around and admire women in the topless situation, and trigger anxixty.....to the degree, that they invent a new rule where it's only women standing there at x-hour to be topless.
Personally, I don't think 50-percent of Germans really care one way or another. They'd be more upset if you brought your dog along to the pool, or if you were farting in the water....than having topless women in sight.
