A while back....one of the sub-public TV networks....WDR (NW public TV)....went out and asked a opinion research institute to do a German an opinion poll on the topic of gender.
I think they were expecting some fine numbers and at least half of their audience making a big deal about using the right gender words.
Well....NO. The poll mostly said that two-thirds of Germans say the 'right-use' of language is of no real importance.
In fact....only 16-percent of polled Germans said it was really important.
Germans not buying into the woke-stuff? Generally, I'd say that between working-class Germans and intellectual Germans.....most are skeptical of some forced-down evolution.
