Three Odd Things

 1.  Yesterday, the SPD-Green-FDP coalition came to an agreement.....there will be legalization of Cannabis/weed.  However, there is still no draft law to vote upon.  Chief issue?  The Ministry of Health would have to draft it and so far, there doesn't to have been any interest.

More or less a comedy show, because you just can't find that many 'ranking' doctors around the country who want to put their name to a pro-Cannabis/marijuana statement.

My own humble view on the draft law problem?  Eventually, the Greens will corner the Ministry of Health....forcing something to occur, but the end-result will be only medical Cannabis will be drafted into the law, and fewer than one-percent of society will be able to procure it.

A whole lot of hype, with little to show for it.

2.  German education folks having problems in getting new teachers.  So there's this talk of a starting salary 'deal'....which amounts to 5,700 Euro.  Yeah, roughly $6k a month.....which is a hefty amount for a new graduate out of college...signed up to be a teacher.

Odds of a crisis in five to ten years....as they can't really raise pay standards?  Probably.

3.  All those Russian soldiers killed in the barracks attack (with Ukrainian missiles)?  A German news story has come out to explain that the Russian conscripts were busying using their cellphones.....so they 'painted' their mass location, and the Ukrainians just 'painted' the middle point for the missile to hit.

On ground rules.....between stupid communications policy and booze....it's led to a massive death count since day one.
