5 Jan 2024: Five German News Stories

 1.  Some story out of Berlin....that the mayor (CDU guy) is having some kind of intimate relationship with some CDU gal who is the city Education Minister.  Makes for 2-star gossip (at best).

2.  Some suggestion that about 280-million Euro of Covid-treatment drugs....have expired in Germany.

3.  Coalition gov't of Germany says some of the cuts to farmers to cover fuel costs....are being reversed.  Not all....though.  Farmers still peeved.

4.  Some chatter that the Ministry of Transportation wants to force a turn-signal onto bicyclists in Germany....because of increasing number of accidents.

5.  Court case in Erfurt, Germany started up.  Guy accused of accepting money to castrate guys....in his living room, without any certificate or training.  Cops just say....he did several guys...willingly.

Just based on reading of the situation....more than a couple applied via his internet advertising, and cost levels ranged from 500 to 2,200 Euro.

If convicted?  Figure a minimum of 3 years (up to 15).  All these fellows being voluntary and wanting the procedure?  Yeah, that's the strange part of the story.

To be honest, if you had gone to the clinic folks.....they would have refused the action.
