On The Amount Of Frustration Building Up In Germany?

After the Covid business....traffic tie-ups have been rising monthly.

You can toss in the 'Last Generation' folks, autobahn renovation, railway strikes, and the farmer blockages on streets/autobahns.

Logistical deliveries are interrupted...bus traffic gets behind schedule, and people miss appointments.

Lot of general frustration building up with the general public.

In today's climate, I figure it's good to be retired. Sort of.

Looking back at the 1980s in Germany...I just never felt any stress. An occasional stau...trains might run 30 minutes late but you just sipped another beer...food was always reasonable....hardly any blitz-cameras...one single demonstration that I bumped into (mostly about the evilness of people wearing fur jackets)...Laura Branigran singing 'Self-Control' being played over and over...only asylum/immigration notes were East Germans escaping to West Germany.

These days? I feel stress every single day....even as a retiree. I had the stupid satellite dish go out in November...first time ever. 10 PM...I had to shine a light on it....completely covered in snow (never happened before). I had to go out and thump it with a baseball bat.
