In the last couple of hours (Sunday afternoon)....the city authority is now asking the German Bundeswehr (Army) to step in and provide help in the grid-loss. What kind of 'help'....is left blank.
One gets the opinion that the chaos and public anger/frustration....is way too much for the politicians to handle.
Plan 'A' or 'B'? This loss of power for 45,000 homes/apartments has dissolved pretty much anything they had on the books....for helping the public.
The electrical repair guys? They have a general plan to bring temp-power back into the situation....some grid 'pieces' each day will come up....with the last group probably on Thursday of this week (afternoon). It's hard to see if the Army could help them.
The schools down? If the Army could bring up twenty-odd generators...they probably could put the schools back in operation.....but the public is dispersed out way past the affected areas.
Feeding the public? These folks in temp-shelter.....could be supported by the Army.
My humble guess....by mid-morning Monday...twenty-odd Army officers will gather up and ask what exactly is needed, and by Monday night....they will be active on a 'plan'.
The sad thing? The responsible party for damaging the grid....will strike again.
