Three Interesting Things

 1.  In Germany, there is a law lingering around that says a competent authority (usually a judge) can observe a person's crimes/behavior, and 'ban' them from entering a neighborhood or town.  Failure to observe the limitation....you go to jail.

I should note....it's rarely used, and usually goes with some criminal behavior shown.

So this morning....I noted out of Hamburg news....the cops there are discussing the Last Generation activist, the glue-stuff, and the possibility that they will move to the next step.....banning entry to people because of the protest record.

If you fell onto the list, and showed up?  You'd be given a summons to court and the judge would issue a jail term.  It means....even if you were on a train traveling through the area....the cops could halt you....detain you, and give you the summons to court.

The cops here....went yesterday to the top person on their list for this behavior (actually living in Hamburg), and gave them the warning 'speech'.  Older gal...in her fifties, and I suspect she was a bit shocked at how this was presented.

2.  Some odd bank robbery was attempted in Hannover, Germany yesterday.  From the way the cops describe it....a kid (maybe 10 to 12 years old) walked in, and demanded cash with the threat of violence.

Kid had a Covid mask on and no one could be sure if it was a girl or boy.

Bank employees mostly just stood there looking....like it'd been some 'talking-horse'.  Kid was disappointed, and eventually left with nothing.

Cops looking for the kid but from the lack of description....I'd say this won't go far.

3.  Some weird report this AM from N-TV news.....PhD guys have found 'permanent' chemical in the product of toilet paper....that goes into the waste system and comes back into water used by German society.  Curious story.

Only answer here?  Well....get rid of toilet paper and just use some water hose to 'clean' your butt.
