Well....generally, you are meaning a Turkish or Lebanese guy (definitely not a gal) who happens to be 'alpha-male' or male chauvinistic in behavior.
Yeah, it's not a pleasant use, and meant more as derogatory than anything else.
Usually reserved for young males? Yeah....I'd say even down into kids age ten.
Even German teachers will occasionally toss the word out in describing problem kids in the class.
