Well....polling done in late November shows the AfD Party in first place....around 27 percent. The SPD Party would rank 20 percent, and the CDU (right-of-center) Party would rank around 18 percent.
Behind them would be the Greens (8 percent) and the Linke Party at 6 percent. Oddly, the BSW-Party (the new folks) are given around 11 percent.
What this leads to in terms of state coalition? No one will partner with the AfD folks. You might end up with the SPD and CDU folks trying to partner with the Greens and Linke Party....trying to avoid the BSW-Party.
The odds of BSW progressing upward? They would mostly take votes from the Green Party, Linke, and SPD. It wouldn't shock me if they were near 16 percent by September.
Additional odds of AfD and BSW partnering? No one ever talks about this possibility.
