This Hubert Aiwanger Guy

In the past six months....Aiwanger has been a noted figure in German politics.

So, some introduction.

He's the party 'boss' of the Free Voters Party and a noted politician of Bavaria.

Free Voters Party?  I'd put them in the center-right position....heavy on a platform of support for farmers and rural communities.  They've been around for about 60 years.  National party?  Well....to some degree, but the bulk of their support comes out of the southern region of Germany.

Presently, for national polls....I doubt if they can get more than 3-percent of the vote....so they aren't yet a threat.

Aiwanger?  Fairly clever....decent at debates...blunt talk on migrant issues....can probably stand his ground against most journalists.

Getting invited to more public TV discussions?  Yeah, that is an odd part of the story.  More face time for him....might mean more Free Voter support for 2025's national election.  Would be a shocker if they got 5-percent of the national vote, and got representation into the Bundestag.
