Odd Polling For Sachsen-Anhalt State Election

6 Sep is the election day for state voting in Sachsen-Anhalt.  Polling?

AfD will (without doubt) 'win' with 41-percent of the vote.

CDU, 2nd place with 24-percent.  Linke Party with 14-percent, and SPD at 5-percent.

Note, you have to have 5-percent or better....to get seats in the state assembly.

Then follows Greens, BSW, FDP and lesser parties....4-percent each....meaning 16-percent of the state votes....earns no seats.

When you do the math....AfD will be fairly close to 50-percent (meaning  no coalition is required).  The question is.....will the SPD get to 5-percent?  If not....then it's absolutely clear...AfD wins and forms it's own gov't within the state.

The other odd scenario?  If you vote for the CDU, and the SPD gets 5-to-6 percent....AfD can't get a free deal, and the CDU end up in a leading-the-coalition 'game'....with the SPD/Linke Party.  In this case...a fair number of CDU folks are peeved at the deal-making involved, and they might vote AfD to avoid the deals.
