Well....it's a numbers thing. A lower IQ is linked to a higher risk of developing schizophrenia.
This relates to a 3.7-percent increase in risk for every single-point drop in an IQ test. So if you considered 100 average, and you had a 80 IQ....that means 20 x 3.7-percent....70-percent higher chance.
In recent weeks....I've hyped the problems of low-IQ folks in making rational decisions and relating to threats of violence.
Each time you note a member of society doing something irrational and threatening....you can generally start a betting pool....something related to a lower IQ has occurred.
