Forty years ago, you would have classified my local town of Wiesbaden as a fairly quiet place....maybe one or two assaults per week, no real drug crime, and a place where the cops would readily suggest was awful boring.
This morning in town? A wild shooting event....on the west-end of town. It's the part of town which has gained a reputation over the past twenty years....where you have more drunken activity or fights than anywhere else around town.
The event? Two folks dead in the street at around 3:45 AM this morning. Man (56) and woman (49). Gunshot wounds as it's reported.
Third person found shortly after that....on the street as well....woman shot in the head but will apparently make it.
Connections between the three? Cops say the man and woman dead....were married, and the wounded gal is a sister to the dead woman. Beyond that....no idea what happened.
Update: 2 Feb 2021. Well....the husband shot dead the wife, then tried to shoot the sister of the wife (failing), then shot himself dead. So the cops explain the whole thing. Where the pistol came from? Unknown. All at roughly 3:30 AM.
