Observations

 1.  It was a bit odd to observe, but this week...the Chancellor (Scholz, SPD) went to some rally in Kiel.  There's a state election brewing, and usually....a Chancellor visit....hypes things up.

On this occasion, he got chatty in the speech over Ukraine policy (pro-Ukraine, pro-migrate).  Lot of negativity brewed from the crowd.....people using whistles to aggravate Scholz.

On the idea....just seven months after the election....that Germans are thrilled with his leadership, I'd say things are pretty divided.

2. Focus reported some weird virus coming up at a Leipzig school.....150 kids and teachers affected.  Mostly fever and diarrhea.  Health department all over it but no idea what the virus is (except it's tested and NOT Covid).  Limited to just school area, which makes it a bit more difficult to guess what it was about.

3.  Cherson area of Ukraine....being set up to be 'little-Russia' region, with Russian banks, Russian passports and Russian Rubles established.

If you asked me on this creating problems if Ukraine's offensive is successful and chases the Russian out....yeah, if you were a ethnic Ukrainian-Russian and holding one of these passports....you might be put on some prison-list by the Ukrainians or accused of treason.
