ARD (public TV) did a news piece from last night, and chatted over a fair number of jobs, which can't be filled here in Germany.
For the first quarter of 2022.....1.74-million jobs went empty.
Yeah, it was an all-time record (since numbers started being collected in 1989).
If this makes sense? No.....140 unemployed people exist (currently) for each 100 jobs open.
The majority in western Germany? Yeah.
If you go walking around the shopping district of Wiesbaden....I'd say a quarter of all business/restaurant operations have a sign up....looking for 'recruits'.
