1. Some of these neighborhoods....SW Berlin....are villas-type/upscale areas. Terror group who selected the target....had to know the status/affect.
2. If you asked the Berlin bureaucrats over planning for something like this....I don't think they ever envisioned something of this scope/size. Within 12 hours, they should have called up the Chancellor and asked for massive help.
3. At noon today (Monday)....they figure 100k residents are still without power.
4. Edeka (the grocery folks) brought in emergency generators by this AM, and are in business once again. Course, if you bought refrigerated food.....where would you store it? I imagine most of what they sell....chips, canned food, and beer.
5. Social-media-wise.....lot of criticism over politicians.

I wonder if the idiot/idiots who did this realize they are only making it worse for the environment. They should have know the backup systems everyone uses will be diesel generators.
I probably spend an hour a day reviewing this chaos. Whoever did it....the group has been around since 2011, and has no fear of consequence (they feel pretty sure the police are helpless. Added to this...politically (probably not grasping this)....they are hurting the Green Party, SPD Party and CDU Party (with the fall election around the corner). On backup generators....THW loaned out around 200 to Ukraine...so what they have done is borrow from western corner of Germany (trucked-in)....to help with hospitals/retirement homes. The bulk of Germans...simply aren't prepared for something like this...in the middle of winter. I watched a interview this AM....Berlin guy yesterday ordered a small household generator....being driven over from Frankfurt today.
Idiot is consumed to make people live a anti-capitalistic lifestyle (like he has). I don't think it's a group....probably just one single guy.

This FSB-scenario lingers (I admit). Whoever the guy is (I think it's strictly one man)....he knows the structure of the grid in Berlin, and doesn't emerge from that Berlin-shadow. He's also aware that the bulk of the 'design' of the Berlin grid is over 50 years old. The manifesto-BS...I'll admit...is extremely anti-capitalist in nature. It's possible that this is a Soviet-era KGB guy who left the Russian services in the 1990s....staying in Berlin.
