If you follow the 'travels' of German ministry officials over the past year....their VIP government planes have broken down on numerous occasions, and it's gotten to the point of being a joke. You could be at some conference in Africa, and about to leave....only to discover that your plane is broke, and it'll be two days before you can return to Germany.
So in the past week, according news reports.....the government finally found money to buy three additional VIP AirBus jets, at a cost of about 1.2 billion Euro (each).
The arrival? Well, don't be expecting a lot here....it's at least a year away before the first of the three arrives, and three years before the other two arrive.
So these break-down delays might continue for a while? Well....yeah.
