1. Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania final count. BSW and CDU....fell below 5-percent (4.9 for the CDU, and 4.8 for BSW)....so neither get seats in the state parliament. Dismal situation for Merz, and crew. Odd landscape for the state....left-of-center SPD leads with a coalition of Greens and Linke Party. AfD is the opposition (by its self).
General belief....there's likely to be a exit-plan of some type for Merz as Chancellor....by early spring 2027.
2. Interior Minister said over the weekend....he wants to revoke the special-status of Syrians to stay in Germany...meaning with x-amount of time....they'd all have to exit. Odds of this happening? I'd say less than 50-50 chance.
3. Oktoberfest spending? Per-day....it's around 92 Euro per person....for beer/food/fun.
4. Remmo.....crime-clan 'boss' in Berlin....showed up at the Linke Party victory party.
5. Berlin-City election odd factor....almost 50-percent of people under the age of 35...voted for the Linke Party.
6. This brief suggestion of the SPD winning in Mecklenburg? Yeah, it's odd....polls for about 3 months had shown AfD ahead by 3-to-5 point...each time. Then one single ending-poll concludes that the SPD had passed the AfD by 2 points....then the ARD/ZDF public TV folks appeared the week prior and did a heavy blitz of interviews to support the SPD Party.
Invented? Well....it makes one wonder.
