1. This vote last Sunday in Saxony-Anhalt (the German state)....seems to have 'confusing' numbers....there's a recount going on in several districts, and some suggestion of 'shenanigans'. I brought this up to the German wife....she merely said 'Putin's work'.....with the belief that maybe KGB folks got involved. I'm not saying it carries any weight....just that average Germans tend to believe this.
Odd statistic did show.....in rural areas of the state....50.4 percent of folks voted AfD....less so in urbanized zones
Last night? Another news blitz from ARD/ZDF (the public TV folks)....counting Sunday and Monday.....probably 15 hours from both trying to micro-analyze the election. I'd suggest by Sunday evening...most Germans were wrapped-up and not requiring more anti-AfD chatter.
2. Platform going ahead for AfD nationally?
- term limit for professional politicians. They will not be able to live off the State for more than eight years
- Europe of sovereign states, or an exit if that is not possible
- end of the euro as a common currency
- total border control
- asylum processed outside the EU
- remigration of criminals and people without residence rights
- tax cuts
- energy: nuclear energy, coal, repairs to Nord Stream, no more CO₂ tax, no more ban on combustion engines
- pro-nationalist policy
- promotion of German culture, protection of the German language
- expulsion of Muslims who reject the German legal system. No to sharia courts
- reinforcement of the police
- zero tolerance for foreign criminals and mafias.
- end of hate crimes. Maximum freedom of expression.
This came from Weidel herself.....most would appeal to common-working-class folks. The 'zero-tolerance' for mafias....would require a massive effort/huge capital investment in police/LE.
3. Viewing a AfD/BSW coalition in Saxony-Anhalt....the odd thing which they agree upon....normalizing relations with Russia.
4. This saboteur guy responsible for sub-station attacks? Still on the run.
Relatives have openly said....the guy is extremely bright (high-IQ), but also has mental issues. I would imagine when they do find/capture him....judge will order a mental exam, and he ends up in some facility.
5. VW selling one of its plants....is to be a weapons factory for Israel’s biggest missile-maker.

6. This hype of conflict between Russia and Germany....mostly BS. Germany is funding roughly 90-million Euro worth of Ukrainian-made Shrike first-person-view attack drones from SkyFall. Yeah, that is peeving off the Russians big-time and I would imagine some serious reaction to sabotage power stations.
7. Some statistic shown in AM news.....Germans in need of psychotherapy....not enough therapists for the job.....only 15-percent of Germans get help.
8. Some poll done in Berlin (city)....young people feel poorly represented. Three out of four.
9. My local state....Hessen....is having a 'truth-commission' over Covid. Basically, if something was a failed policy....they want to admit it and never repeat it again. It's mostly over state policies in the period....not the medical treatment or vax business.
